About Heidi Lauren
I’ve always been the friend that liked getting everyone together for a good time! While studying for my degree in Organizational Communication, I entered the events and entertainment industry with the Atlanta Dogwood Festival in 2004. Since then, I’ve had my hand in events from many different angles: logistics, staff/volunteer management, design, catering, photography, and vendor research, selection and management; while working with some of Atlanta’s biggest events and event companies, including: Taste of Atlanta, Atlanta Arts Festival, and Music Midtown/Premier Events. In 2012, I honed my focus while I enjoyed being the first OTP Community Manager for Yelp–planning, marketing and coordinating both large-scale and intimate events of my own with the best local businesses and business owners in the North Metro Atlanta area.
In 2015, I studied and achieved the title of Certified Wedding and Event Planner through KSU and Lovegevity. I began to build my own business, and then I put it on hold as I accepted a position with one of the top event companies in Atlanta: Bold Catering and Design (formerly Bold American Events). There I coordinated elements of design for large scale social and corporate events in the best venues of Atlanta and beyond. This is where I grew my skills and passion for event coordination and vendor management–working with talented event designers, creative floral designers and an exceptional operations team, as well as highly recommended vendor partners– and further developed my own personal event values.
In 2018, I had my baby boy and decided to go back to building my own business. I continue to work freelance with various Atlanta companies and annual events!
Regardless of what type of event you are looking to plan, I enjoy bringing people together and believe in celebrating even life’s smallest moments. When I’m not planning (or working) a get-together, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four boys...mostly on a soccer field, watching an Atlanta United or MAN U game, or practicing creative wellness and crafting.
